Last night after class our group got together and discussed the types of products we would like to sell at our restaurant and the type of food that would be sold.  We would like to keep it pretty simple and sell Angels baseball hats, jerseys, and other types of memorabilia.  For the restaurant aspect, we want to sell  very typical American food.  We want it to feel like an old fashioned type of American diner that sells hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and milkshakes.  It will have a very similar to feel to Ruby's but with a merchandise area in the restaurant as well.  This location will cater to all the Angels fans to come hang out and eat before and after the game.

  1. Great idea keeping it simple. Sometimes if I have too many options I feel overwhelmed and I don't make any purchases. It is easier for you to maintain an inventory and easier for consumers to make decisions.

  2. I think that its a great idea to have a diner that is the typical American food since baseball is America's pastime. I am not sure about the memorabilia that you will be selling on the other hand. Is it going to be the same things that are sold inside the ballpark itself or different items that is unique to your store? I know the items that are in the ballpark are placed for impulse type buying for when you arrive at the game and do not think the same thing would work if you have the same items in a restaurant setting. I think this would be something worth considering for you though.
