Starting...

The name is The Outfield this is to reference the theme of the business to cater to Angels fans but other customers are welcome as well.  Our business goal is to provide a family oriented atmosphere for before and after games.  Not only are we providing American food but Angels merchandises and game tickets. We believe that there aren't that many business around the Anaheim Angels area that have our kinda business model, so we believe it is an addition to make fans enjoy game days and bring that family time together opportunity!

Ok, so one of our first steps would be to conduct a survey of the business to be marketed in Anaheim.  This survey will ask how likely will a consumer spend their time at our business and through this we do hope that at least or not all Angel fans will do a stop before and after games...that is just one of the idea we have for now so we'll keep you posted.

  2. Halos is a very catchy name! I really like the idea of targeting to family oriented segments of the market. I highly suggest you guys do questionnaires regarding their preferences in taste and what they like about your business and you guys should take down any recommendations or inputs that your customers have to say!

    Good luck!!!!

    1. Hi Katheryn, thanks to your interest. We would interview Angels fans and people around the area to see how they think about our store. Since we are offering the products that many other stores do not have, we are highly confident that we would attract many customers in a few months.

  5. Love the Name! The Outfield is very clever with Angels Baseball being the main focus. Is this a combined business with a restaurant inside? That is always a fun profitable way because you are receiving people interested both the eating and purchasing fan apparel. If you are a restaurant, maybe you can name some of the meals after top well-known current and past players of the Angels. Or have one of those eating contests where the meals get bigger and more challenging as they move on. Such as meal one is first base, meal two is second, and so forth, then you can incorporate a homerun or grand-slam meal. This sounds like it could be a fun sports bar place to hang out and watch the game as well.

    Go Angels!

  7. This is a great idea, and it will be nice to be able to buy tickets, food, and merchandise all at the same place! Most people who attend games or concerts have to purchase these items separately, through different vendors. There is also the worry of whether the merchandise or tickets that they purchase are authentic. Your business can solve these problems.

  8. I think this idea is going to work really well. First, because of the catchy name. Second, people like to try new things (store/restaurant in one). Third, because fans will feel that this will be a cozy environment. Last, they can save gasoline and time by going to one place and do everything there (eat, buy ticket, and merchandise).

  9. I like the idea! Considering the amount of fans that would love enjoying the games at their house while having their foods catered is awesome. Just one question though... Let's say that the people do want to purchase game tickets; How would you guys compete with Ticketmaster and still make profit?

  10. I think if you guys incorporate a quick service that beats other competitors with quality, convenience and speed, might help with competitive advantages

  11. This is a great idea. I am a baseball fan and really enjoy the atmosphere. I take my son to the Angel's games anytime there is free time. I really believe that this idea could grow into something amazing. I'm sure many people would love to have a place to take their children before the game that was kid orientated.

Target the kids. If the kid asks enough the parent will more than likely check out the new spot. Good luck with your research!

  12. This is a great idea! Baseball fans are a great target market because they already are willing to spend time and money supporting their teams. Creating an environment where they can come together and enjoy the sport is a fantastic idea. Have you thought of different events you could host during the offseason and during away games? You could make a year round spot for fans to show support.

  13. The fact that a lot of the percentage of people that attend baseball games especially angel games are families this idea should be pretty effective. There is lots of dining places around angels stadium but you may b able to attract more customers with the other items in your restaurant like game apparel and tickets. Love the name too baseball fans will definitely be attracted to that.

  14. This is clever. I like that you also think of a specific location too. Have you thought of whether to focus on the food business or the "Angels" business?

  15. Are you part of the Angels organization? Or a business around the staduim? Are you mainly trying to plan activities for families before and after the games? And if so where at?
    Cant wait to hear more.

  16. Love the OutField name and how it is family oriented. Keeping it safe and friendly allows you to work well in hand with ethical core values of the business. Keeping it family oriented will bring in supportive market because parents will appreciated the clean atmosphere. Families want to hang out in areas where they know their loved ones will be having fun, safe, and Angel spirited. I think this is great!

  17. I agree with everybody else, catchy name! I have never been to an Angels game, but I've been to a Dodgers game. I think it's a good idea for the city of Anaheim to have business strictly for Angels fans. I know I'd buy some gear and souvenirs. Being kid-oriented is a also great idea.

  18. I have been to baseball game. Everytime I enjoy them. But I see some people who come to stadium seem to enjoy not only watching the game, but also buying their foods, goods and also entertaiment that organizers provvide such as family fun game and pitching ball with players. I think this theme is good idea of how more enjoyable time the fun including non-fun are given.

  19. I have been a huge baseball fan my entire life and I love the idea of getting involved with baseball. While being a SF Giants fan makes it hard to support the Angels, I like the idea of getting the fans involved even more. Creating programs for before and after make going to a game a day event which I think is great. This would be a great family outing idea and I can see definite success in the future
